ABOUT ME

I believe we can all build the career we deserve.

Throughout more than 30 years of international professional experience, I have experienced careers from very different perspectives: as a professional and senior leader in major multinational companies, leading teams and international projects; as an entrepreneur; and, for many years, supporting professionals, leaders and organizations through key moments of growth, change and transformation.

But perhaps some of my greatest lessons about careers came not when everything was going according to plan, but precisely when I had to start again.

My first major professional transformation came when I moved to Brussels as part of a family expatriation. I was in my early thirties and had to find my professional path in a new country. I sent more than 100 applications, went through numerous selection processes and took temporary jobs while pursuing the international opportunity I was looking for.

Eventually, that opportunity came: I joined Baxter as European Marketing Manager, beginning an international chapter that would transform my career.

Years later, I experienced a second expatriation, this time to Dubai. I was 48 years old, had a family and more than two decades of experience in Healthcare & Pharma. Once again, I found myself asking a question that has shaped many moments of my professional life:

What do I want my next chapter to be?

This time, the answer was not to find another position along the same path. It was to reinvent myself.

I decided to transform more than 20 years of experience in business, strategy, people and leadership into a new professional career. That was the beginning of my transition from the corporate and Pharma world into Executive Coaching, leadership and career development.

Two expatriations. Two different stages of life. Two different ways of starting again.

The first taught me how to seek opportunities, position myself, persevere and build my place in a new environment.

The second taught me that professional reinvention has no age limit and that our experience does not have to hold us back — it can become the starting point for our next chapter.

Those experiences taught me something I have since seen time and again while supporting others:

Careers are rarely linear. Extraordinary careers don’t happen by chance. They are built.

Today, I am an ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC) specializing in Executive, Career & Leadership Coaching, as well as a consultant, trainer and speaker, and the Founder of SmartCareer360®, the methodology I created to help people take ownership of their careers, develop their leadership and build a professional future with direction, purpose and impact.

Your career is not just the job you have. It is what you choose to build with your talent.

Throughout my journey, I have learned that building an extraordinary career means understanding who we are, defining where we want to go, learning how to position ourselves, taking strategic action, developing our leadership and deciding what impact we want to leave.

My work combines career strategy, executive coaching, leadership, mentoring and business insight to support people at very different stages — from those seeking their first major opportunity to professionals looking to make their next career move, grow as leaders or reinvent themselves and design their next chapter.

For more than two decades, I held positions of responsibility in multinational companies including Amgen, Baxter, Terumo and IQVIA, working across Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Market Access and international projects.

I have lived and worked in Spain, Belgium, Dubai and Saudi Arabia, and have supported professionals from 30+ nationalities, from young professionals to managers, senior executives and C-suite leaders, as well as teams and organizations across different sectors.

I hold a PharmD, a Master’s in Marketing Management, and I am an ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC), with additional training and certifications in Team Coaching, Agile Coaching, ORSC, NLP and Leadership Development.

My own life experiences have also transformed the way I understand success, careers and leadership. Difficult personal experiences taught me that a truly extraordinary career is not measured only by the positions we reach, but also by who we become along the way, how we lead and the legacy we leave behind.
